Title: Tips for hiding the.....
Post by: Chaos_Dagger on April 26, 2009, 10:22:10 AM
Hiya all!  So, I'm posting this topic before work since I really have nothing better to do, and I'm curious.  Some or all of you may know my situation with Phantom_Heart, and if you don't feel free to read both our introductions.  Anyway, due to the circumstances I've been planning on doing something wonderful for Savannah!  I wish to take her somewhere that nobody knows us (it's going to end up being Niagara Falls.  Love tourist spots, you can easily blend in no matter what!) and spend a couple of days with her as Adrianna.

I already have some clothes that she so graciously picked out for me, and surprisingly that fit my body quite well!  I still however need to by some shoes and a wig.  What I'm looking for are some tips on hiding certain parts that shouldn't be there, as well as creating some that should be!  I went to a transgendered shop and payed some money for a "transformation" where they lent me some clothes, a wig and some breast forms so I could go out with Savannah.  However, because of the time of day and my stupid wants I ended up looking like a hooker, so we didn't leave our hotel room!  So, once again all I ask is for any tips you may have on hiding what's not supposed to be there, without the use of a gaff (since I don't own one yet,) and how to create some realistic looking breasts without the use of breast forms if possible.

I'm only looking to have a B cup nothing too major!  Anyway thank you, any help is appreciated.

-Adrianna

I have been using balloons filled with warm water. You can choose the size by the amount of water you put in. The knot to close them create reallistic nipples under clothing and they have a great bounce like the real thing.

That forum has a bunch of stickied thread on exactly what you asked -- hiding stuff, and faking other stuff.  The 'focus' is on cross-dressing as anime characters (cosplay/crossplay), but there advice still applies, and there's at least a few people there who started with crossplay and ended up like us :P.

Thank you for the information.  Though with the water balloon thing, don't they make sloshy noises?

As a start you may want read this article on "Making your own gaff" in the wiki.

I never had much luck with this technique, and on two occasions they ended up bursting.

On my last pre-silicone attempt I went for water tight freezer bags filled with a clear gelatine mix (The unflavoured food type), and used a padded pre-formed cup bra for better shape.

A cheap pair of lycra/spandex bikini bottoms seemed to work best as a gaff until I got more used to tucking. Swimsuit bottoms tend to give more support and the elastic stretches more than panties (usually work on a couple of sizes down so they are tight).

I got good results from rice tied up in stockings. They mold to your body well too. As Chrisstly said, a pre-formed cup bra gives you a better shape. Balloons are ok, they don't slosh if you don't have any air in them. I was always paranoid they would burst though.

Did the double balloon trick.  Place one balloon inside another and then fill with water.  However after a year on HRT, I am pretty happy with the current results.  Looking forward to the next year's results.

Using warm water when filling make the balloons more elastic. But use only once. After a couple of days they might become britle and start to leak or even burst.

Before purchasing breastforms I took old hose and filled them with flax seed...worked great

Flax seed can be found at any good store like Whole Foods or Sun Harvest in bulk...it may seem a bit expensive but the hulls are very hard and sleek so the seeds are not effected by moisture as birdseed may be.

Always...Teree

I sometimes wear very tight underwear pants to hide it. The underware pants feels like latex, and I purchased it in the internet at $1. I am not quite sure whether it is successful, but today I wore athletic capris tights and the underwear pants while biking. My tights is like:

I like wearing tights and leggings, but most women here wear them under miniskirt, long tee or short pants. I sometime wear just tights without short pants while exercising outdoors:

I am not quite sure it is so much noticeable as no stranger dares to mention it. Mostly, my kids make fun of it when it is noticeable.

Regarding chest, I usually wear just A-cup bra which is very thick and sustain a shape but without blocking ventilation in summer. In the above photo, I just wore Strapless A-cup bra that I purchased in Wal-mart at about $5.

If I need some volume, I wear adhesive nude bra under the bra like the following: http://www.cybernetplaza.com/pages/nu108.asp (http://www.cybernetplaza.com/pages/nu108.asp) But, mostly wearing just strapless bra alone is enough.

Maebh has the idea for an inexpensive way to do breasts. One time I  used large ballons I found at party store. Filled them with styling jel. It worked well until I accidentally burst one. The jel gave them a really sexy bounce. I have not yet been successful in completle hiding the male part. So mostly I avoid pants. There are places to find breastforms that are not super expensive. Hugs, Genevieve

Hi Chaos_Dagger,

Like Genevieve Swann I would get larger ballons, like the 9 or 12 inch diameter, but only fill them up to about a B or small C cup. I considered that the extra stretch would prevent bursting. Sometimes they would last a couple days before I disposed of them.

As for hiding the, stash, try medium control panties with a winged pad then tuck. The pad helps flatten it out some. Then controltop pantyhose with a firm control panty over that. This keeps everything in place and is rather comfy. If you can't wear panty hose I think there is a link in Wiki, as mentioned above, for making a gaff from the tops of a pair.

Thank you so much!  All of you have had such good advice.  I haven't yet tried any of it, as I wish to wait until I have a wig.  Any suggestions on working on a more feminine voice however?

If you haven't been working on it for a while already, nothing will quickly give you a female voice.
My advice: just don't talk much. Whisper your 'No' and 'Yes' and 'Thankyous'.

Yes. That is exactly what I have done during the past 5 years.

And another perplexing problem is that you would meet far more strangers who ask you for direction. In my case, more women, especially at their 30s and 40s, call me to ask for direction. That's fine. But a lot of drivers stop their cars to ask me for direction. I guess the reason is that I look so queer, but paradoxically strangers tend to believe that I may be kind and friendly to them.

An interesint moment was about 2 years ago when I walk in the road while holding my daughter in my arms. A driver in the passing car called me behind, but I ignored it. Then, he honked at me. I was really upset, as he was so rude to honk at a pedestrian. I looked at him. He was with a young lady, and asked me for direction. When I reveal my voice, he seemed to be flurried, and just left. When I am in men's mode, this could not happen.

That would be fine. About a month ago, when I waited for a train in a crowded station, a middle-aged women blocked me and even grasped my arm to ask for direction. Did she know that I would run away? Anyway, I did not simply run away. I looked at ther but did not say anything, and just went for my direction. I was a little bit sorry.

I'm not looking to QUICKLY give my self a female voice, as I don't expect to be stepping out of the house dressed as a woman within the next few days.  Just looking for some tips to help with the process so I can eventually have something to work with.  My wife tells me I do pretty well with female voices when I'm voice acting (which in our case means reading out what the characters in the game I'm currently playing are saying.) However I'm not really trying then, and I don't really have to concentrate on WHAT I'm saying while saying it as I'm just reading.  Hmm maybe I should bring queue cards with me? LOL

The easiest way to attain a female voice is to live as one, full time.
When you're thrown in the deep end, you have to try your best to swim or you'll sink.
Close to two years since going full time and my voice is far from perfect. Much, much better, but it still needs work.

So true.  Live or die by the voice.  Mine is still a work in progress.

I dressed up once, but I ended up looking like a hooker, so Erica hid me in the hotel room.  LOL  The receptionist told her I looked like a hot woman and should dress up more often.  I of course didn't get to work on a voice then though.

ok, this is the wrong sort of tip...  but i think it's worth mentioning.

if you're going to be out in the world with your lady en femme, i'd suggest somewhere OTHER than niagra falls.  since it's on the US/Canadian border, there's lots of things you're going to want to see on the other side of the imaginary line guarded by men w/ uzi's.  attempting to show your presumably male passport to these folks while donning a wig and tucking your goods is probably not the best of ideas.  i'd suggest rethinking your locale or taking the trip to canada and leaving your persona in your hotel for the day.

Um, Hmmmm. OK, So your telling us that your married and when you dress, you look like a hooker? OK, either you and/or your wife suck in the make up dept. or something smells rotten here  :P

To the one who says not to go to Niagara;  I live in Canada and have never had any interest in going to the state's side.  Besides I don't have a passport at the moment so en femme or not I wouldn't be able to cross the boarder anyway. (P.S.  Our falls are cooler anyway)

The time I dressed up, we went to this transgender "store" and payed to borrow their stuff.  The mistakes that made me look like a hooker was, the person who did my makeup refused to use mascara and used fake eyelashes instead saying they were easier to "get rid off" despite my asking NOT to use them.  Another mistake was she did my make up a bit over the top; using bright blue eye shadow which did NOT go well with my black and red hair!  The final mistake was my choice of skirt for the time of day.  Sadly I chose a short skirt when I should have picked a longer one, but I was too stubborn since I liked the print of the short skirt and had very limited selection.

The US and Canadian side BOTH have loading docks for each of their Maid of the Mist rides.  So no worries, there is never a NEED to cross the boarder.

way to go girl! start from within. think like your a real woman. and the rest will follow. with regard to your voice, i dont think you ca really "change" it.. just talk slowly and dont be too loud. in that way, you'll sound a little bit feminine..
