Title: Arm Size?

I am not large and do not have big biceps for a man, but as a woman I've found that the sleeves of many women's shirts are pretty tight. (Perhaps it is just the current style.) Do your arms (especially biceps) slim down as the estrogen modifies your body?

don't quote me, but i've heard that all your muscles and fat and what not will move to more femimine places. arms? idk....my guess it that they would slim down at least a little bit.

if it makes you feel any better, sleeves of women's clothing didn't fit me pre-T. you have to be a waif with no shoulders for most of them.

Biceps can shrink a lot.
Get out a measuring tape now so that you can keep track later.
Also find someone to open jars for you in the future! >:-)

Just curious how long that took? I was pretty strong before I started hormones, just curious how long it takes (or took you)?
Thanks!

I had a hard time fitting my arms into women's shirts myself. Go up a size or try a different style. Even then most styles seem to be made for tiny people.

Pretty much why I could never wear women's/girl's shirts even when I was little. The sleeves are meant to have a tightness to them. It's more form fitting.

Yeah they're definitely made to be form fitting -- I like em that way :). I guess I'm lucky with thin arms/not-so-broad shoulders because I fit into junior's medium shirts just fine.

Women's shirts are pretty tight on me, especially in the arm/shoulder area. I'm hoping estrogen/AA's will slim them down. Last time I measured my biceps were around 13 or 14 inches around.

Just recently i tried putting on tops from last summer that were snug in the arms and now they are kinda loose...yay. It sucks trying to use tools now for simple things, I keep having to take "arm breaks", for driving especially omg.
(edit/p.s.) it's because of lack of T more than E alone that weakens muscle mass. Maybe I'm being anal but you said "as the estrogen modifies....."

Yes, you're right. I knew that. ::) Maybe I'm just so happy to have the T blocked I keep spacing out that without those little pills it would come back. :P Kind of looking forward to what will be and blocking out what was...

Well, I started HRT at the end of August, so it's been about 8 months... but I was off and on, and my dose was too low for a long while. I started doing everything the right way a couple of months ago.
