Hi everybody,
I found this site last week and have been reading some posts and enjoying them. I'm not a transgender person, but my best friend of over 30 years is, and I've learned a lot about her life and the lives of some of her friends, too.
Right now I'm working with a pro-bono lawyer who is trying to give support to the transvestite community in São Paulo (I live in Rio de Janeiro) in terms of preventing abuse, legal issues, health problems, etc.
Anyway, I'm happy to be here!

Thanks for the welcome...I'm really enjoying it here.
And yes, Stephanie and I will be friends forever, there's no doubt about that! We met through music (she is a fabulous jazz singer and I'm a pianist) and that was the beginning of our bond.
