Joe The Plumber Slurs Gay People: I Would Never Let "Queers" Near My Children

Joe the Plumber, aka Samuel Wurzelbacher, sat down for an lengthy interview with Christianity Today to discuss his views on the future of the Republican party. Wurzelbacher took the opportunity to speak out against gay marriage, which he says is wrong. The unlikely conservative spokesman went so far as to say he doesn't allow openly gay people "anywhere near" his children.
The word "queer," Wurzelbacher noted, "means strange and unusual."

He's just venting anger due to Obama's socialist tax plans making it impossible for him to buy the plumbing business he always dreamed about since the days he was on welfare. He's also nervous that Israel is going to be destroyed any day now.

By now you may have read (perhaps here, I've been away) about Joe Wienerschnitzel (a.k.a. "Joe the Plumber") talking about how he "would not let queers near [his] children". Funny thing, I was just thinking how I would never let Joe Wurlitzer near my kids. Weird coincidence.
A friend of mine laments that there is no place for ignoramuses like Joe Waterbuffalo to homestead anymore. "Used to be that if you thought society didn't match your values, you could just up and move to the frontier! Nowadays, there's nowhere to go, so you've got ignoramuses who will never change their mind forced to live around the rest of us. There's got to be a place for conservative close-minded ignoramuses!"

I've had gay friends. Some of them worked as day care providers where they were surrounded be children all day. None of them ever had a problem and were well loved by the children and families they served. Most often the folks that bother children the wrong way are clean cut "normal" looking folks that no-one would suspect until a child speaks up :P Almost forgot, one did have a problem...She needed help putting her "pig tails" up evenly

We need to recognize that Joe is expressing a sentiment that many straight parents share, but do not express in public.
