I went searching for an answer but i guess i didn't look hard enough. But since a lot of guys have used Brownstein i figured this was the best place.
How many did you order?
Did you get it notarized?
I've got no problem with paying, after all its peanuts compared to surgery. I just don't wanna waste an extra 30 bucks if i only need one letter (20 for letter, 10 for notary).

I don't know.
Your state Public Records may snarf a copy when getting a new birth certificate.
Still, they may be able to give you a "true, attested copy" of the surgeon's affidavit for nothing.
On the other hand, once you have a BC, it's good for about anything.

I just got one. So far everyone has just looked at it and handed it back to me. Haven't done the BC thing and may not.

Yea. Surgeon's notarized letter may be very importand ::)
I have my own with population registry certificate and passport.
In many countries you need it when you change BC or passport sex markers.
And is some places the letter may out you cuading a lot of problems in case somebody reads it.
The question is when keep it with you and when not?
