Title: Gender Bending Name...

There's this name I want to used, but it's a female name, but I think it sounds a bit androgynous. I don't want to place it here, because it might come back to me if I do choose the name in the future.
So would it be wise, to use a female orientated name (that may sound a bit androgynous; it's an ancient rare name) as a guy?

If it fits for you, go for it. Personally, I look at my name change as a change, I want it to signify that my new name is not connected to my male self, even if it is a gender-neutral name. But I can see why you would want to do it either way, so do what you're most comfortable doing :)

Yeah it's going to be around the time I transition, like in the beginning.
The name came to me yesterday morning in the car, and I played with it in my head, and I loved it. The best comparison would be a name like "Dakota", but that's not the name.

As a practical measure, I can understand that, but you should really use whatever name you like, regardless of how gender neutral it is.
