Title: Gay Marriage "Outreach" March in Cent. Cali.
Post by: Michelle. on May 30, 2009, 10:46:21 PM
These people have the right idea when it comes to the future of the Gay Marriage issue.

Keep in mind with the vote at 52-48, you only need convince about 4 out of 100 voters (who voted in favor of) to switch sides in order to overturn Prop 8.

Well praise the lord that they read the election results and are looking at running the campaign where its needed, and not where its not.

I also hope it is made clear that a vote for Prop 8 is a vote AGAINST gay marriage.  I heard a number of people who voted for Prop 8 last time didn't know that.

And we need a whole lot of that in Yuba and Sutter counties.  I won't hold my breath waiting for a rally, or outreach to AfriMerican™®© churches.  When it's really-no-kidding happening, I'll help.

All you had to do was a) read the ballot, or b) read the campaign lit on either side.  Those people you know would give morons and idiots a bad name.  This is a trick long part of the system.  How f*ucking stupid were they really?

Great points.

Thats why my I pointed out changing just 4 out of 100 voters minds.

Theres a downside to the highly charged rally. The "stealing" of signs from old ladies. The lumping of the entire religious community together as one.

You could very well push some of the "fence sitters" from our side over to the dark side.

Politics makes for strange bedfellows, pun intended.

Intent is to take case to Supreme Court.

Another thread I started. How has this news been received out in Cali?

No sarcasm, they sucked last time around, ran a victory party, not a big league election campaign.

Tekla said, "Praise the Lord." Have you done a complete 180 in that regard?

They need to do micro targeting, polling, fund raising, townhalls, GOTV etc.
