Hi Everyone,
Just arrived here after posting a link to my blog on Susan's directory. I'm a fan of this site because I've found so many great resources through the years here. Found my current therapist listed on a Susan's page as well.
My name is Mattie, and I'm a married M2F. I came out to my wife while we were dating and we've been married over 4 years now. It's kinda hard to say I'm definitively M2F since I don't know how far I would actually need to transition to feel most comfortable with my body. I feel "female of center" if there is such a thing, but I don't know in a practical sense if transitioning all the way across the spectrum would be my ideal. Growing up I used to feel like I wanted to be 100% female - and I'd have taken that in a second if given the opportunity. As I've gotten older I'm trying to have patience and work through my thoughts and feelings. I want to live with intention, and not just react to the suppressing of the girl inside me for 30 years.
Anyway, I'm really glad to have come across this forum and hope to make some new friends and have some great discussions. BTW, is anyone else from NYC?

Hi Mattie and welcome. I live in Brooklyn and have been out for 4 years. Came out as m2f crossdresser at age 56. Now I consider myself a transgenderist. I've found my comfort zone and you will find yours in due time.

Hi Maddie, :icon_wave:
Welcome to our little family. Over 2500 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.
Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams. Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.
But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister. :icon_hug:
And be sure to check out
Janet
