A disgusting new promotional site for Bacardi Breezers says all that women need to be more attractive is to find an more unattractive female friend to stand next to.

According to Copyranter, Israeli ad agency McCann Digital launched the "Get An Ugly Girlfriend!" site in Hebrew and English along with a Hebrew-only facebook group to promote the fruit-flavored alcoholic beverages.

The site suggests that like Bacardi Breezers, ugly friends come in several different varieties and women can use them to appear more attractive in social situations, such as at the beach:

I don't like those kinds of ad campaigns. Who gets to decide what beauty is anyway?
On the Axe body spray site is some similarly misogynistic campaign (actually I don't know if it's still there anymore), some kind of book that described what to do in situations where many women are killing each other to get with you from using the spray.
Things like that are just... not nice. Whoever's in charge of those kinds of ads needs to grow up. It certainly doesn't make me want to give money to these companies.

This is supposed to be "invented" by an add agency? What did you see in high school and junior high?

This is horrible advertising. First they make people feel bad about themselves and they are forgetting that the not so pretty women drink as well.  What kind of idiot would have said "Yea, this is good.  Go for it"?

Normally these kind of things are funny, but this one is really disgusting. And is it just me or did the second blonde woman not look bad at all?  :-\

Seriously! And aren't "beautiful" people a minority if their idea of "pretty" seems to be so narrow? I thought advertisers liked selling things to a LOT of people...

*eyebrows*  I just wonder if the woman in the third pic knew they would be referring to her as a "freckled pile of cellulite" when that photo was taken.

Who gets to decide what beauty is anyway?

Who exactly would describe them as stone cold foxes?  It works because across the board they are not all that attractive.

Its not exactly a secret that often good looking women like a less good looking women to hang out with, makes them look better.

And the women in the pictures got paid, I'm sure they had a clue that they were not exactly posing for Vogue.
