Hi all,
I am new here. I am a family member of someone who suddenly is involved into "your" scene. I love him/her very much and I would like to get in touch with him/her via Susans page because I care liek crazy! Could you, the one and only I mean possibly get in touch with me? Love, Susanne, ghazala, schamps!

Welcome Susanne, I hope that you can make contact with your family member here.
People don't realize how wonderful it is, for a transgender individual to have the support
of friends and or family. I take it that it's not physically possible to extend your hand
of support, to this family member, in person. I'm sure they would find that an awesome
gesture of acceptance and love. If you haven't at all broached the subject with your
family member before and they are, as you said, "...suddenly involved into "your scene"."
Be forewarned, when your loved one realizes that they have an ally, it might be a little
difficult to get them to shut up (so to speak) about their inner struggle, about their
triumphs and their defeats. Though it may seem, to everyone around them, that
this is something that they've just recently decided to get involved with, know almost
assuredly that this is something that has been bubbling under the surface for a VERY
long time and your loved one has probably come to the point that that they are not
willing to denigh their true nature any longer. It may come to a point that you realize
that a large number of conversations, with this person, will become one sided and
centered around their new experiences. This can largely come from things being bottled
up under extreme pressure, for so long, that the proverbial relief valve is popped and
it may take awhile for the pressure to dissapate. In the mean time, I hope that YOU
will continue to visit this site for yourself. From the wealth of information and personal
postings in the forums, you will find insight into what your loved one has probably
been going through for a long time and you will also find support here for yourself.
Again I say WELCOME.

Hi Susanne, :icon_wave:
Welcome to our little family. Over 2500 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.
Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams. Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.
But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another SO. :icon_hug:
And be sure to check out
