Title: Introducing Daphne
Post by: Daphneology on July 01, 2009, 08:59:57 PM
Hello All!

I'm Daphne, a 34 year old transwoman in Pennsylvania. I've only just begun my transition; no hormones yet, but in therapy and expect a letter from my therapist within the next couple of sessions. I'm super excited about finally getting started, but have huge concerns about my passability (who doesn't, right?).

Anyway, I'm always up for a chat and I love to gab, so drop me a line anytime. And if you get a moment and wanna let me know if you think I pass, here's a link to my gallery:

I know you must get tired of those requests, so feel free to tell me to drop dead if I'm already being pester-y. ;-)

Glad to be here -- hope to get to meet you all!
~Daphne

Fair enough. I don't think they're necessarily "in" anywhere, but I also didn't think they were out.

But, alas, I can hide the midriff.
Thanks for the tip.

Hi Daphne, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 2700 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister. :icon_hug:

Hi, Janet!!

Thanks so much for the welcome...and I get it, I get it...no more belly. ;-)

I'm not sayin that's what I would wear out...just trying to get an honest appraisal of my body, my passability, you know, that sort of thing...but sheesh. >wink<

I would kill indiscriminately for that kind of midriff!

Hey Girl! Welcome to the lovely place that is Susans  :). It isn't your midriff that is the real problem, its the blouse. It is too 'school girl' (ish) and should not be worn by any women over the age of 20! Note: that includes myself. Anyways hun, nice to see you here and look forward to gabbing with you (I love to gab too  ::)).

Laura, you're a doll!
Incidentally, I told a girlfriend today that I would kill a baby to have 37" hips, so I guess we're both going straight to hell. :)

Whee, another Pennsylvanian! :3 Great to see more of us here.

Anyways, you look great for someone who hasn't started yet! o.o I'm almost a tad bit envious of how well you look.

..I've not seen the girls so jealous in a long time.. ;D

I think their all trying to tell you have a great shape for someone just starting out, and don't worry about the clothing comments ...
..... It's summer after all (well at least in the Western Hemisphere) and anything goes!  :D

QuoteLol sorry for my crass introduction

Oh, Audrey, you're too cute to be crass. ;-)
In any event, I have stopped taking photos revealing anything more than hands and face in part due to the torrent of effluvium generated by my last batch of pics.
OK, actually, that's a lie...I've stopped publishing them, not taking them. :)

Thanks for the "official" welcome, though.
