Title: Not worth it?

I love and care so deeply
Never asking for a single thing
I give and give and give
You bleed me dry!

Until you grow bored of me
You say goodbye
You have better things to do

Am I some plaything?
Here to entertain for short periods
Only to be tossed aside?
Hoping to become a hand me down..

I cry
I moan
I ache

I wail and heave dryly
Sleep for days and forget to eat
Smelling like roadkill, and not looking much better.

Is this my life?

F--- that!
I am well worth the love I give!
I will not shed another tear, nor waste another day for someone so selfish!
I will gladly bend over backwards for some one I love, but I will Not love another like you!

Wow! that really hit home. I really liked this. It sounds like it came from personal experience of yours and if so... good for you for being strong and realizing your self worth. Thanks for sharing!

That very last sentence was incredibly strong in my opinion. The entire thing was very well written.

Thank you both. Writing has helped me keep my head through this rough patch. It makes me even happier that others appreciate the writing.
