So, today, i sat my mom down and showed her the site and a few videos of transition on youtube, and she said she didn't feel nothing, and that she'd accept me with whatever, but at the same time she said that if i took the transition of being hole female -post op- she would feel rather someone died....other then that everything is alright...i felt a little dull after wards like a part didn't know what just happened, but i think she understands and no matter what she cares, so that's a BIG PLUS. Oh, and i did tell her i wanted post-op, and she agreed. -lol-
I have a couple of questions if you don't mind answering.
1] is it normal to feel dull and like a disappointment after you explain to someone that you are transgendered or what not?
2]have you ever experience this?
3]Out of curiosity, i read that stem cell(i think thats how you spell it) eligibly to make reproduction cells for transgendered post op females, is this true?

The dull feeling is just an end to a anxiety filled time before hand. No worries there. You were probably ready for a fight and argument and had explanations and defenses all set to use if need be and didn't need them. That is ok and your not alone in that.
The third question, I really don't know as I have 4 natural children of my own and never looked into it.

According to wikipedia page on transsexuals (if you believe them :P) then stem cell research has not gone that far yet.
As far as feeling dull, I know the feeling. I was really siked (sp?) before I told my parents, my heart racing and all not knowing if they'd accept it or not. ??? Then my mom was like, I'll always love you, even as my daughter!!! I was excited at first, then I didn't know what to do! I had prepared for more. :eusa_doh:

It is even worse to tell someone, after agonizing over it for weeks, and have them say, "Oh, I knew that! About time you did something about it."
Or
They thought I was explaining to them that I was FTM.

Yea, most of the family are starting to know all because of mom LOl, but it's kind of a release because, now theres one less person to tell!! 😀 so i already feel comfty about that. At first, my mom thought i was just confused LOL...i made it clear that i wasn't so she could understand, now she's planning stuff with me like my hair! and clothes and makeup! feels so good !!! 😀

It must be post dramatic stress syndrome, the dull feeling.

Yeah its totally normal...when I told my mom I thought I was a boy she was like you don't know who you are and this is probably a phase.
But if its truly who you are, stay strong and pull through it.

Thats exactly how she was. lol. It's complete now i think....Im just ready to start my hormones quick before i start turning into a monster!! hahaha. I asked her how was she about that, she was like, if thats what i want to do lol. Inside thats really not the answer i was looking for but i have to think about myself sometimes and not everyone else

yes, it is natural to have that weird feeling after explaining to someone.. I felt a bit sad after telling my mom.
about stem cells, yes, they managed to make sperm cells from stem cells and I think also eggs but not sure 🙂

its actually hilarious how my mom is in denial. She is all like well everyone has the fantasy to be the opposite sex. Which is true, but far from what were experiencing. When I feel like being a girl I feel more like a guy who wants to be a girl.
