Title: Voice at 6 months

6 months on T and I'm finally liking my voice.  It's starting to settle to a point where it doesn't "sometimes sound high, and sometimes sound low"--it's steadier and I like it.  So here's a quick vid.  I remember saying that I didn't want to plaster my face on the internet in the interest of future stealth, but... somewhere along the line I think I stopped caring.

And yeah, I realize my S's are still prominent and apparently feminine.  I've been trying to not do that, but it seems I can't unless I put my finger over the large space in my front teeth and then talk.  If anyone has any tips, I'm willing to listen, but... I think the problem might be the teeth.

Wow, that's fantastic! Couldn't tell anything from the Ss, but you sound about the same pitch as my 6-foot-tall brother, so yeah, brilliant! (And I agree, loved the "stuff's going good"). Go you! ;D

I definitely didn't notice the Ss, and I don't think you need any tips!

Not only do you sound awesome, you look great too (echoing what others have mentioned)!

I'm so jealous of all you guys who are on T... I've got so long to wait. :(

But that doesn't stop me from being happy for you all! :laugh:

Thanks, guys.  I'm perhaps being overly concerned about how I sound...  I'm just happy that talking in front of people is having the opposite effect it did 6 months ago: instead of being a 'give away' or a source of weird looks, it seems to be tripping enough cues to signal 'male' to people.  Awesometastic.

Holy wow. I finally got the chance to listen to this today, and just... wow :o That's absolutely incredible. If your presentation was a cake, your voice would be the icing! Very, very tasty icing, lol.

You sound 100% guy to me. I think you're at the stage where it doesn't matter if you have pronounced 'S'es because I've heard guys with it, it kind of sounds like a whistle. So you're fine, I wouldn't be able to tell.

You sound awesome and look great too.  My voice broke about 3 months in, it was the most awesome thing for me because having a male voice really helps with your personal identity especially if you don't pass.   Also it can even cue people to id you on the masculine side if you sound like a guy especially if your presentiation is in line with that like male clothes, body language etc...

I am coming up for 5 months on T now and it is getting deeper gradually I think I can notice subtle changes like it seems lower and more resonant for sure.
