Title: Another Voice Question/Winge

I'm getting frustrated with my voice. At 3 months I seem to have lost all my upper range, and ruined my singing voice, but my speaking voice has hardly dropped at all. My every-day voice is about where my voice used to be when I first woke up in the morning. >:( I realize I'm probably being impatient and paranoid, but I'm starting to worry that I started T too late, and I'm going to end up as one of those ones who gets stuck half-way and never really passes properly. :(
Upon doing some further research, I've discovered that I'm currently on what most of you would consider a half-dose. I'll be getting my levels tested, and quite likely my dose adjusted, in the next couple of weeks. Those of you who didn't start at a full dose, did you find that when you stepped up the dose, that the changes kick-started into motion?

I also started on a half dose (and stayed there for 7 months :(). Changes seemed to happen anyway... Some things more than others of course... It's more the individual than the dosage that determines how fast and how drastically things will change. I was already hairy to begin with, so I wasn't paying too much attention to that. My facial hair is taking it's time, but is slightly visible. My voice started dropping rather quickly, but maybe yours will just take a bit longer. I'd go up a few intervals to end the red death for good... I've just recently gone up in dose, so it's a bit early to determine whether or not things will progress faster, though my sex drive has spiked considerably.

You're probably right. It's not as if there have been no changes at all. The body hair is sprouting like crazy. ::) And aside from a couple of brief incidences of spotting, the red death hasn't plagued me since the first month. (Yay!) I'm just getting very impatient to start passing for a change. :-\

I started on a half dose from average as well. What I noticed was a little more muscle build-up, arms hairs getting a bit longer and some slight bottom growth. I've been on T only 3 weeks though. Today I started double my dose. Whether that will stay my full dose or if the endo will raise it later on I don't know. That would depend on blood results and T effects. So, today I started the "average/standard" dose.
Each person's different though and some respond faster than others. I'm not sure what the "standard" changes would be at 3 months. I'd talk to your endo about it.

Make a few voice recordings. We are our own worst enemy, at times.
And last I checked, you are younger than I am, and while I know we're all different, it's never to late!
Jay, now on T one year
