"You are Boann, a water goddess and wife of Nechtan, a water deity himself. Though you promote inspiration, you are a little on the reckless and curious side and dont take advice from anyone else. Unfortunately, this leads to your demise. First of all, you cheat on your husband (but were not caught because of your divine lovers and your own powers). Then, according to legend, your husbands sacred well (Sidhe Nechtan) contained the source of knowledge. All were forbidden to approach this well, including YOUwith the exception of your husband and his servants. You ignored the warnings, and strode up to the sacred well, thus violating the sanctity of the area. For this act, you were punished, and the waters of the defiled well swelled and were transformed into a raging river, a river that pursued you. Some say you drowned; while in others believe that you managed to outrun the currents. In either case, this water became the river that was known henceforth as the Boyne (named after you!), and you thereafter became the presiding deity".

You are Bebhinn, goddess of the underworld and daughter of its ruler. More specifically, the goddess of pleasure. You love to see others happy and enjoying themselves. According to myth, you are breathtakingly beautiful, with long golden hair. You yearn for equality but, at the same time, are neither ignorant nor self-absorbed. In addition to being very lovely, you are also very strong, independent, and sure of yourself. So much so that you got yourself killed when you refused a proposal. Your would-be husband (called "Hugh the Splendid) murdered you out of humiliation and resentment.

You are Aibell, a fairy queen and goddess of Munster, who also determines if husbands are sexually satisfying their wives. With your name signifying beauty, you are quite the master of intimacy. Which is obvious, since you know that which satisfies all women. Now the question arises, what is it that you do when you determine that someones husband is falling short in their duties?

The answer to that of course is an Irish Godddess's secret ;)

You are Danu, the great earth goddess who rules over fertility, prosperity and cattle. Moo? In any event, you are the power that is in the land, never to be overcome by mortals. Your power is in the imagination of those who see magic in the twilight mist between the worlds. You're also the mother and daughter of Dagda, which is quite a neat trick. As a Mother Goddess, you are renowned for suckling godlets. There are still two hills in County Kerry still known as the Paps of Danu. Not much for modesty, now are we, Danu?

You are Brighid, the goddess of poetry, healing and craft (especially metal craft). Your name, meaning "bright arrow," serves as the inspiration to all bards, artisans, scholars and any who work with words. You see art and beauty in so many things that you emulate creativity.

The name Bridgit was derived from this name... and the so called St. Bride was derived from bridgit.... whats even more odd.... this derivity is my ex's stage name...... how wonderful LoL

You are Eriu, a goddess of sovereignty and the personification of Ireland! You, through a ritual as old as time, confirm and establish the kingship of your beloved country. Yay for you. If you arent Irish you wish you were.
