if the bio girls out there are willing to share their underground secrets.........
is there ...any....hint of body language and conversation that a MTF should know about...in the powder room.......since we dudes have not BEEN in their "bonding" with bio girls?
what DO girls talk about in there?

Hi Veronica06
Having frequented Ladies rest rooms for many years....
Any thing goes....
You can go into the restroom with a total stranger and come out knowing each others life stories and being friends for life....

You go with the flow Veronica06... There are so many conversations going on its unbelievable.
It is a social occassion, not just a pit stop and functional, like the guys.
Obviously standing up to pee is a bad thing, but I have seen some strange things that women do in rest rooms....Outside of the toilet cubicles
As to talk, you will be amazed what goes on and is said, you can just join in any conversation no one seems to care.

You said you were old school, right? have you heard of the proverb....an eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth ? Just my honest opinion....and one of the things I have learned from bio girls on my journey....

By talking, kiss, kiss, and make up (not the kind you apply on your face) but the act of forgiving itself.

Of course, we are all girls in the powder room, right? Someone here said that you can go into the ladies room with a perfect stranger and come out of there with your best friend for life. Oh...how true!

so, how about, things like, I have witnessed....tucking your skirt under you and such...
how do us MTF folks learn all this?
is there any special place/method to learn stuff like this?
do girls still put napkins on their lap? do girls cross their legs while eating? how do sit under a desk/table and still cross your legs?
is it okay to just cross your ankles and not have-to...cross your legs?
all this kind of stuff...ya know?

Quote....tucking your skirt under you and such...I'm not quite sure what you mean. Do you mean when you sit. Just do it in a manner so your underwear doesn't show.
Quotedo girls still put napkins on their lap?I believe so. I do.
Quotedo girls cross their legs while eating?Only if somebody can see their underwear.
Quotehow do sit under a desk/table and still cross your legs?If nobody can see, then you don't need to. If it is too short, you can just keep the knees together. Sometimes lowering the chair helps.
Quoteis it okay to just cross your ankles and not have-to...cross your legs?Usually yes.

LOL..you are so cute, Veronica! but I'm glad you're asking because I don't think we'd had questions like yours before. You learn all these things by observing other women. The RLT (real life test) is your best teacher during transition if you are transsexual; otherwise you can always buy some of the brochures out there which deal with women's etiquette. Just try google for details.
I still place my napkin on my lap at the table; it has nothing to do with being a woman, it is just table manners, plain and simple. We always cross our legs when we sit, or at least put our knees together. Never, ever place your foot over your knee like some guys do....that is "dude" behavior... :D ...and if you are going to wear high heels, don't bend your knees when you walk....ughhhh...it just looks disgusting in a woman!

any of you ladies have any really helpful magazines you would recommend to the rest of us...that the rest of us haven't found any yet?
I looked around the net.......I found a bunch of lesbian/butch places...I found maternity places...I found menopause places...
I do not find...much..really helpful... to us transgender... outside of porn links for dating.
thanks

Sorry, I got to the topic late..... But I did this little ditty just a short time ago about powder room conversations.
Those conversations
with raised voice
when there's no choice
but to respond.
Almost yelling
yes, there's much telling
over the walls.
Outside the
band's a wailin
music's pumpin
folk's a dancin
servers walkin
drinks a comin
couples dancin
they's a shoutin.
So the conversation
happens at the stations
where the toilets stall.

Ummm.... just like this actually I'ed amagon..... Right ?
this entire thred is woman's domain... completely out'a my leag !
though I have hurd guys talking in the restrooms they usually bring the conversation in with them and continue it.... but very rarely ever strike up a conversation in the bathroom.... the bathroom is a place to get in and out of quickly. <grin>
...though I have hurd some very funny things in bathrooms, none of them repetable in public, but nonetheless funny as heck !
Observation I believe is an important key to understanding... guys tend not to observeas much as the gals do... or do so in a diferent airea....
.....
go into a resturant and after dinner ask your wife if she saw the gal in the white dress and she will usually say no... ask her if she saw the guy with the 3 daughters following him and she will inevetably say yes... the focus is diferent in every cornor of behaviour....
take your newborn into a resturant and every mother in there will have to comment on how cute he/she is.... not so much the guys, but the gals sure will.
...
Perhaps its just a stand up thing... sense guys don't need to sit they have their gathering outside under the hood of a car.... many a good friend has been gathered from under the hood ! <grin> and if there is alot of crome under the hood the croud gathers quickly..... and if the engine under the hood is realy a big powerhouse, well it goes without saying that there will be lots of conversations going on for sure !
...but then that just may be a california thing ! HAHAHAHA !
.....
thanks Tink for the information... now I understand why the wife takes so long going to the restroom some times ..... got busy gabbing ! HAHAHAHHA
...

ok..my time to sound off..
it would seem also,..to me personally...only in my eyes...in my life.
I have been at the casino...men's room...a lot of talking about the tall blonde cocktail girl...and a lot of b.s.---farting,,,belching...complaining about the-old-lady and the kids...or missed that last poker hand by 1 card...almost had a good pot on the slots.
guys do a lot of small chit chat about their car building...what new thing to put in...how they are gonna chrome it...talk about that dinner last night of chili and how their belly is still rumbling.....inlaws...neighbors...bitching about several things.
heard a conversation about the stalls being full and 1 guy got yelled at for going in and peeing while he sat down and how he shoulda used the urinal....and seen far too many guys pass up 10 urinals just to go stand by a toilet and pee..........
weird things in guys bathrooms........

Yeah, I guess I've had a few conversations in guys bathrooms. It's just about the same thing, but different subject and not quite as common for men as women, but then again women talk more.
LOL! Too funny. :D That was always one of my biggest worries. I didn't want anyone seeing that disgusting thing between my legs.

check out this subject with lesbians, they can be a good bridge and friendly and willing to understand support system, after all no matter how butch they portray themselves they know women better than we did at the begining, is easier to find lesbians in remote and conservative locations than trannies.
