I have alwayse been kind of facinated by Candy, i used her name as my screen name for a while. I found her via Andy Warhol and the Velvet Underground, and she appearred in work by both.
I have heard she died of bone cancer due to a badly devised regement of HRT, which kind of makes sense cos eostrogen is important in bone growth. But wiki says she died of leukemia which is kinda bone marrow cancer. It seems like the sstory has been filterred trhough a few too many people with not enough medical background. Does anyone here know more details?
