Well I went out as Alice again last night - the third time I have been realy dressed up as Alice in public. I went to a dinner party at a friends flat in the city.
I started out early by putting on some makeup (eyeshadow, blush, lipstick). I wore a knee length balc skirt, red top, Black pullover/jumper, long gold earings, gold necklace, stockings and black heels. I do have photos but it will take some time to get then out (the last time I use my old camera).
Getting out of the house was easy as there was noone arround when I left. Drive into town and park a block away from the flat. I changed from my flat shoes to my heels at the car and walked to the flat no problems. There where 6 at the dinner party in total. The host was Maddie (CD), Tiffany, Christine, Myself (all CDs), Ellisa and another GG (sorry I forgot her name). Lot of chat about the usual stuff before dinner. Ellisa is become as good friends as I am finding her easy to talk to. We talked about where to buy dresses for the ball and I will look at the op shops as well as another lead I have.
Dinner eventualy was servered. We had a nice roast and the discussion got onto politics etc. After dinner and coffe and more discussion I made arrangment to pick up Ellisa and Maddie for the ball and it was time to leave. The walk back to the car was easy - good fun in heals. Drive back home.
It was soooo nice to be out in a skirt. I enjoyed the night, the discussion, the company and been out dressed as Alice ;D ;D. it was a great night.

Oh that sound wonderful Alice.
I'm so glad you were able to dress and be out with some friends.
Are you going to a ball dressed too? That would be so cool.
What the ball called?
It just sound so neat.

Congrats on having a wonderful evening! I hope some year to be able to come down and meet you and your girlfriends!
I hope you post some pics soon.

btw, One of my students asked if the people in Australia feel upside down compared to the rest of the world. I told him that, to Austrailians, it's the rest of the world that is upside down!

Hope you have fun getting a dress for the ball. Get some pics from it. Should be a very different experience for you. Its something I have never done so I am sort of envious. Smiles. At the same time I hope you have a wonderful experience.

It sounds like Alice had a wondrerful time, I am so pleased.
Great to make new friends and to have the opportunity for Alice to get out more.
Next step is the ball.... so start planning.

Good for you, Alice.
I wish I was invited to a ball so I could wear a formal dress

I'm so happy for you. For my part, the whole femme experience is to get ready, put on makeup, pick out a nice outfit, making sure every thing you need is in your purse, before taking that last look at yourself in the mirror as you take a deep breath and walk out the door. To spend the evening in a skirt and heels, and just to be yourself ... priceless. I just wish we had more opportunities to get out. It's so nice to have a community where we can get together (I can't say we do here in Calgary) but I do get to Vancouver once in a while where we get together as a group. I just wish we were not percived as freaks by society, and could gret out with a friend more often to restaurants, lounges or just shopping.
I hope you can experience more days like you had.
Hugs, Jen
