Women with high levels of testosterone 'take riskier jobs'
Women with higher levels of testosterone are more likely to pursue careers where they are required to take risks, according to new research.

The so-called "male" hormone is associated with competitiveness and dominance and has previously been linked to other types of risky behaviour, such as gambling and excessive drinking.

Now, scientists believe it may have a bearing on career choice.

Researchers in the US measured the amount of testosterone in saliva samples taken from 500 male and female MBA business students at the University of Chicago.
