Title: So many catagories, who am I?
Post by: TracyQ on August 25, 2009, 11:50:29 AM
TV, TS, TV, andro, bigender, non-binary!??

I guess I've been out of the loop for awhile.

I am over 60 years old,  legally changed my name to Tracy in 93, had implants in 94,  got my d/l changed to F around 2000,  and have been working since 93 as a woman, I guess.

"I guess?"  Yeah, because I still don't know what I am.  Name a gender bending/breaking label, and I have at one time applied it to myself.

OK, here is what I wish, was.  I wished we lived in a world where a male (me) could  dress, act, and look like a woman with no negative consequences at all.  Where if I found a woman attractive,  I could approach her with the same expectations as a "normal" man.  She might like me, or not, but my feminine looks would matter not at all.  It would be OK.

Now, this is obviously not going to happen, but it, I think,  gives some insight to who, or what, I really am.  I love my breasts, but there are times I wish I was flat chested so I could look more like a man who crossdresses,  instead of looking more like a woman.  I DON'T want to look like an ordinary man,  but I also don't want to regarded as a freak.  Thankfully, that doesn't seem to happen very often any more, but...

I am not a woman, but I live, work, and "think" (I think) more like a woman than a man, but if you asked me to label myself,  I couldn't do it.

Hence the subject line.

Anyway, Hi!

Hi Tracy, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 2900 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister. :icon_hug:

And be sure to check out

Labels?! We don't need no stinking labels.

The best label for you would be................................."Tracy".  Don't look for labels.  And as far as approaching women as a woman, us Lesbians do it all the time.  If you haven't had SRS yet, then you would just have to cross that bridge when you came to it.  Some people, albeit it a small number, accept non-ops as they are.

Blessed Be.
Janet

Welcome Tracy,

I'm not one for labels myself.. generic is just fine. ;D
As Nero pointed out, you will find good folks all over the spectrum here.

Just be yourself.

Welcome Tracy.

You are who you are, why the need for a label? If you are happy as you are why try to force yourself into a category to fit in?
The TG spectrum is wide and it is good that this site allows space for each of us to share, learn and grow. Your unique experience adds to the diversity and richness of this place.

Hope, Light, Love & Respect
