Hi Bev! You sound great! Lost of love sister!

That's very sweet of you to say.  Really, I have a new computer and can do more with it.  I wanted to say hi, and thanks.  The voice?  It's what I call a 'serviceable voice' .....nothing special, but it works, and sounds lots better than Mike's defunct deep baritone voice.

Zythra......yeah........I sang in a choir......you were either tenor, or bass.  I sang in the tenor group, only because the lowest bass notes were out of reach.  Also the higher tenor notes were out of reach.  I can't do anything with the bass anymore, but now I sing alto, and can hit any of the highest tenor notes with ease.  I also have a much higher natural voice I used for about half a year, but learned to find a comfort zone that didn't trip anyone's alarm.  That's what it's really all about anyway.....not tripping alarms.
Once you learn to control resonance, it's all about little details that make a female voice distinctively female.  I don't even think about it anymore, not even on the phone.
It's not how long your chime is.....it's how you ring it.....lol.....no shame at all   ::)

Lovely voice, Bev! Your choir background gives me a lot of hope for myself, given that's exactly the range I had in high school.  ;D

Quick note on recording: I don't know how seasoned you are with your recording software, but if you plan on taking the mic back, try some other software first.
