ALIGARH: A 21-year-old woman with a rare disorder was operated at a hospital here following timely intervention by her family members which saved
her from the clutches of eunuchs.

"The girl was suffering from a medical condition
described as "ambiguous genitalia" and had developed a partially-grown male organ in her right scrotum adjoining a partially-developed urinary tract but otherwise had all the physical attributes of a female," Arshad Hafeez Khan, head of the plastic surgery department of Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, said.
