Title: Best and worst features
Post by: Melissa on September 29, 2006, 04:53:58 PM

What 1 or 2 features do you consider to be your best feature(s) and what 1 or 2 features would you change? Items such as genitals or breasts (for FTMs) don't count because those are too obvious.
I'll start. I consider my eyes to be my best feature and if I could change 1 feature, I would get an upper lip reduction. If got another one, it would be getting some forehead work done.

Hmmm... I'd say I like my overall smallish physique (just not the height).. and perhaps my adorable personality, lol...
Quoteand what 1 or 2 features would you change?
My height? I know, I know, I'm actually making peace with it. But STILL, if I could... but I guess that doesn't count since I'm stuck with it.
So how 'bout puffier cheeks! The "hollow" look just isn't working for me. Or I guess I could just smile all the time ;)
Aaaaand... I guess I'd have my brow bone areas sanded down. I don't have much "bossing," but my eyes are deeper set than I'd like.

Good question Melissa!
Best features?.. I am not really sure I have any, but if pressed I would have to pick my hair as I love having long hair.
Worst features?.. I hate my shoulders which are to large and also I wish I had smaller feet.

Best - Mouth and jawline
Worst - seemingly permanent dark circles around my eyes and not-so-white teeth :(

My best features my eyes, my legs, arms, butt. What I'd like to change are my prominent nose, adams apple, and my eyebrows I would have lifted for a more feminine looking face. And the everpresnt dark cirlces under my eyes. I practiced lifting the eyebrows up a bit with my fingers and the look was dramatic. Next would be eletrolysis for the face. ;)

Best: eyes and legs--my wife always says that she envies my legs. ^-^
Worst (this is hard to narrow down to only two): waist (too thick and too much of the middle age male paunch) and eyebrows (too thick and bushy).
Now I suppose I could exercise more to get a thinner waist and I could pluck my brows to achieve a more feminine look but that would take work.

My worst feature is my weight, but I am working on that.
I would have to say my best features are these:
I am a story teller at heart.
I think I have a good 2nd tenor voice.
ANd I'd rather laugh than cry at a situation.

Ah, an easy topic! ;D
A couple of things that are awesome:
1. My lashes. You don't want to know how many women have complimented them. With mascara on they will literally knock you down. :)
2. Legs/booty. One of the benefits of living in a hilly city. Just walking around gives you a tremendous backside.
A couple of things that are awful:
1. Male. Pattern. Balding.
2. I'm very fuzzy. I tried the lazer zappy, but after 5 applications it just wasn't working. :'(

Quote from: nathan on October 01, 2006, 11:23:26 AMOh yes, I have good lashes too. So much so that I never wear mascara and I've had other women jealous over that. :D But I consider that part of my eyes which I listed above.

Features I like..... My eyes and my smile...
features Id change, Not to be greedy or anything but Id give anything to be at the point I should be at if it wernt for going off HRT.....
and that would porbably help with the second which is slowly proceeding receeding hairline which I hope will one day soon be gone, but It just wont go fast enough. :)

Melissa, you've taken away my only possible answer to this - the breasts.
I can't stand the fact that I have breasts, men should not have breasts, etc.
Aside from that, there is no feature of myself that I do not absolutely love.
My best features?
Every feature is my best feature.
There is no feature I do not love, no feature I would change.

Let's see... my best features: hair and eyes
worst features: nose and eyes
yeah, I like the way my eyes look, but not the fact that normal vision is 20/20 and mine is 20/1300. if I could change them, I'd just do the lasik surgery, but make sure I had someone fully proficient. And the nose... it's too big. But I'm not big on cosmetic surgery.

Best, Shoulders.
Worst, thighs, hips. They're not decreasing as fast as they should be in my opinion. However, I have to remember my genetics and that my dad had wide hips for a guy and big legs.
And Rafe, I had Lasik, had eyes as bad as yours I think - prescription was -10.75 - and I'm now just a little short of 20/20 in one eye, six years later. I use glasses to drive because of that one eye. I'm really happy with it.

Best: I get compliments on my hair (blonde, long), eyes (blue), breasts (not as big as everyone seems to think but who am I to argue?), and my legs. I played soccer for years and also paintball and trained in the martial arts. My legs are what I consider to be the best feature for me, especially when I can wear heels (rare).
Worst: I really need to finish losing the extra weight

Quote from: Nero on October 01, 2006, 08:16:07 PMIt would be reducing the distance between the top lip and the nose. In other words reducing the height of the mustache area. Between 3/8" and 1/2" would be ideal. Mine's more like 1".
Okay, I'm not even going to ask what a "lip reduction" is.
Quote from: Nero on October 01, 2006, 08:16:07 PMWhat about your voice. You have complained about that in the past. If breasts are the only feature you hate, we'll make an exception for that. I just didn't want every single person listing their genitals and breasts for answers, which is why I added that clause.

This reminds me of a test I did in psychology class where we had to write good and bad things about ourselves. Turns out most people have a harder time writing down good things about themselves than bad things. I guess we tend to see the cracks and how we can fix them more often than we see what's good about ourselves. Not saying it's a bad thing, I think always trying to change yourself the way we think is better is a good thing :) but sometimes I think I need take a look at what I do like already about myself. Anyway, just thought I would share that :)

Best: eyes and nose. I've been told that I have nice eyes, and also that I have a perfectly shaped nose.
Worst: hair and lips. I think my hair looks bad short or long. It's currently long, because that's the lesser of the two evils. And my lips are way too big, which some people say is a good thing, but I think it just looks stupid.

Best feature is for sure my long, thick, wavy blond hair! A lot of ciswomen tell me "I wish I had your hair!" and that makes me happy that cis women are jealous.
Worst feature probably my shoulders. They are pretty broad my fault because I use to lift weights a lot when I was still pretending and living that male lie. Also this one changes a bunch, but right now it is my shoulders.
