I would just like to say Kanye West was such a a-hole to Taylor Swift when he toke the mic away from her!

I stopped watching that award right around the day when they stopped showing rock videos on mtv.

I haven't watched a VMA show in ages (or MTV for that matter with the exception of real world last season), but we had a bit of a girls' night last night and we had it on. we saw the part with kanye and we were all like "did that just happen"? Beyonce's reaction was priceless, "oh, no...  KANYE!!!"  :D

nice to see kanye is still causing drama where ever he goes, I expect an ALL CAPS blog post from him about it any day!

I saw that on the news earlier, I agree it was pretty weak. I thought Beyonce was really graceful about it later, but Pink, who I wish was my real mommy said it all:

LOL! I love her, she is fierce and rock at heart.

Pink is, and always has been very straightforward about herself and what she says.  In a world of rock posers, she is the real deal.  And, you have to give Beyonce credit - a class act all the way, who knew what the right thing to do is, and did it.

Fact of the matter is, both of the vids were boring.  Gaga should have won, Beyonces' is a rip off of some mid-1960's Bob Fosse stuff, and the Taylor one was just puppy love in a watered down form - which is pretty pathetic.

And, both Pink and Gaga brought it for the show - however, only Green Day and Muse played live, which is the hard part about a lot of that stuff.

Oh thank god! I dreaded opening this when I saw "Tekla" on it because if you were to burst my Pink bubble with some inside scoop about her being a whiny diva or something it would seriously have upset my world view.  :-*

Nope, with Pink, what you see is what you get.  The real deal.  Always loved these lyrics.

Agreed.  Had the same experience back before I moved to SF-- she was very nice, down to earth and preferred to address people by name, which she actually remembered..

I really liked her Stupid Girls video and song.

I've hated kanye since he said "I wish I had less fans, so I'd have less money, and less responsibility"

and the fact that he wanted the Bible to be re-written cos he feels he should be mentioned in it.  arrogant a-hole for sure, I'm not even surprised by anything he does anymore

Then his apology posted on Perez was all "I'm sorry, but for real, beyonce has the best video". eff that.  You don't defend yourself while delivering an apology, especially when you were clearly 100% in the wrong
