Hi,
Ok this is quite a weird question and i hope i dont offend anybody by it but. Is this normal.

So ive always wanted to be a girl ever since ive been very young but...
Now that I am older i still get these fellings extreamly strong, (much stonger then when i was little) but when i masturbate it seems to dull the felling for a little while, but the feling is still there, just not as much.

Masturbation can relieve stress...

and your GID is likely to be causing stress..

..then that sounds reasonable. ;)

It actually has less of an impact on your true
gender identity than many would want you to believe. ;)

(I just re-read your first post here to refresh my memory of who you are and where you're at. :)  )
Some people with Acute GID don't masturbate, a lot can hardly bear to touch themselves "down there" even for more everyday purposes.

Many others do and yes, as you've found out it can bring a temporary relief of GID symptoms - whether that's due to some sort of post-climax hormone state or more a purely psychological thing I have no idea.

But your story/activities is in no way unusual luv, so don't stress about it in the least.  :)

When I was much younger in my early teens, I used to masturbate and I honestly had myself convinced that my GID was sexual because after ejaculation the urge to cross dress would vanish for a few hours. As I hit my early twenties the masturbation was less of a relief of the GID. The release would last for a few minutes and then the need to cross dress would be back with a vengeance. By my mid twenties I no longer felt any arousal form cross dressing and the very thought of "playing with my self" disgusted me.

I think the arousal has more to do with the burst of hormones at those early ages then it does with the cross dressing.

That's pretty much my story to begin with - but at 23 I moved in with the woman I later married.  I told her about my dressing and she more-or-less accepted it and was supportive.
For the first time in my life, I was able to dress more fully and for more than a few minutes and I discovered a weird thing ....... if I WAS going to masturbate, then it had better be within the first hour because after that, I was disinterested in sex of any sort.
The moment I transitioned at 53 - and pre-hormones - I became asexual.

My story is similar to Steffi's.  I think the masturbation helps as a stress relief and perhaps the pheromones(?) help settle you.  I found it less and less effective as I got older, though.  The GID just kept getting stronger until I finally had to deal with it directly.

Glad im not just weird (wait i am -_-) but yea, i started to try to convince myelf it was just  sexual but i always thought it wasent. But im happy about that.
