I read the terms of service and hope that this meets both the letter and spirit of them. I had been on estrogen patches and spiro for several years. My insurance covered them and I had only a co-pay. They were prescribed by my doctor. For several reasons I stopped seeing him and purchased them overseas. The price was about the same as my co-pay. I recently decided that this wasn't a good thing, went to a doctor who specializes in MTF issues and got prescribed injectable estrogen and progesteron. I had a heck of a hard time filling the estrogen. CVS doesn't carry it, at least here in Florida. Walgreens quoted me a price of $170 for 140 day supply, then when I tried to pick it up, they told me the quote was for just 1/2 of the prescription and they didn't actually have that brand in stock. I could wait until when and if that wholesaler got it or she could get another brand, but it is twice as much. It is much cheaper (by 2/3rds) at the place that I was buying without a script.
Has anyone had luck with shopping for it at American Pharmacies? (and would you share the name of it?) If I have broken any terms of service, please delete this post and, I hope, no hard feelings. I am just trying to do things right, while saving enough for the rest of it!

In my experience, try multiple pharmacies... the individual pharmacist's knowledge of their ordering systems has a lot to do with whether they think they can get it or not. It's rare that the average person self-injects so these aren't common requests. Good luck!
