Title: Started HRT
Post by: Dani on October 02, 2009, 03:52:51 PM
Ladies,

Just a few questions for all of you who have been on estrogen for a few years:

1. Why do I feel so calm and serene when I take my Premarin?

2. Why do my lips feel so full and warm about an hour after Premarin?

3. Is this just pdychological or you any of you feel this way all the time?

BTW, I love the feeling. I feel so natural and whole. the way I should have been.

3 months on HRT and already I have a B cup and roundness in my hips. Not bragging, I just feel great!

Love,

Dani

Brag all you want!! LOL. You are so fortunate to have such great success early, I envy you.
I'm starting soon, I hope I have great results like you quickly. *fingers crossed* I can't wait for that feeling of calm to know I am taking that next step.

Having been on Estradiol for 19 months now, I am only barely a B cup and nothing else.  But I feel more normal, emotionally and mentally.

Good for you, it is a wonderful feeling.

For about the first week I got an almost euphoric feeling taking my estradiol each time.  I decided it was more in my head than anything else.  Now I just get that bad taste in my mouth with the spiro.
I had about an A-ish cup that stuck with me after I turned 13, I blame the hormones in beef & chicken.  Obviously nothing that was properly shaped, but it was something.  I'm now about 4 months on HRT and OMG ACHING! ;D  I thought I was feeling something after the first month, but last week I realized I knew exactly what this new aching was.  What I felt the first week was nothing but my own wishful thinking.  Keep in mind it takes GGs all of puberty to fully develop - my first puberty may have been terribly wrong, but it lasted more than a few months so don't judge too quickly.

The most evident effect may be all in my head, but it doesn't matter.  There is definitely a stabilizing effect from being on the right hormones.  Whether the mental and emotional stuff is just a placebo effect or not - I don't care, I just feel better.

Congrats sis!

Concerning Premarin I don't know, I was on the very verge to take it when a sister warned me Premarin is one of the most dangerous Estrogens, I immediately baulked off after hearing this despite I already bought a very expensive box and neither can you take Premarin sublingually to escape the liver, it's too big and yucky in taste to what I heard.

I personally prefer my transition go slow and safe than fast and dangerous.

That funny taste might have something to with how it's made; pregnant mare's urine, & you don't even wanna hear about how the horses are treated.

Thanks ladies,

I have to confess, my breast size is mainly because I am way overweight. But I do honestly fill a 44 B bra and my waist is slightly smaller than my chest and hips.  With a little more weight loss and aerobic conditioning, I hope to have a more feminine figure.
