For my fellow Canadians... and others...
Those of us who live in Ontario have a wonderful resourse available in Toronto visit Transpulse at their web site here:

Additionally they have an extensive FAQ regarding SRS in Ontario which has finally been re-listed as a procedure covered by OHIP. There are a few caveates of course, but you can read it for yourself here.

As an aside, I was browsing through Susan's photo galleries and I recognised a photo of one of Susans past members on the Transpulse web site - the flashing photos on the right.

For "SRS in Ontario" they refer you to Dr. Brassard in Montréal, Québec. >:-)

Yep they do, not a bad choice, he was my surgeon and my results were excellent. :)

SRS re enlisting in Ontario is old news.
Where have you been for the past year? lol
I am getting my SRS through CAMH through OHIP funding.

Yup it was pending May 08 and got Officially introduced in June-July 2008 which CAMH has sent over 75 people so far to Brassard. Im not sure if ill be in the top 100 but ill find out on my next session.
I am just happy to be getting srs in this ERA, it's an extra $18,400.00 in my pocket.

lol, I went from being told I had to pay $18,400.00 to keeping it, that was the greatest news ever. Shortly soon ill be a brassard girl at the age of 24
