Title: Heathen/Pagan Yule-Songs.

Yes, I know, it's not even halloween yet..
But I just... I love the winter solstice.. I love yule,.. it's my favorite one!
So here's the thing.
I'm looking for songs and/or altered lyrics to songs for this yule.
I would love something I could play guitar to and some inspiration to translate to Icelandic..
All I've found so far is this (http://www.sanfords.net/Pagan_Humor_and_Thoughts/Pagan_Yule_songs.htm), which is quite good, but more is Always better.
So...

Min, are you looking for something Heathen-specific or Pagan in general?
I don't know of many myself, but I do know some folks in a local Asatru Kindred. They might have suggestions.

in general is alright but something from the local asatruar would be absolutely appreciated :D

Well, my Asatruer didn't know of any offhand, but she was going to forward my request along to a local Asatru message board.

I once heard Dianna Paxon speak at a Christian-Wicca-Asatru interfaith discussion panel at the seminary where my wife was studying. Ms. Paxon is part of The Troth (http://www.thetroth.org). Under there "Resources" link, they have "Lore Resources." I don't know if they will help at all, but I thought I'd pass that along, too.
