Title: anti-androgens

I'm not ready yet to start full HRT yet because that would cause a severe disturbance where I work. However I was woundering if take just a anti-androgen would not cause me to begin to appear more female. I'm not ready to start developing my breasts but I would like to stop having to endure erections.

It would most likely help with that. I've never taken one without the other so I don't know what other effects it might have.

Just taking a t-blocker would end up throwing your balance off. The body needs a balance of sex hormones to function properly. You would most likely get hot/cold flashes and night sweats from hell.

All t-blocker have the side effect of developing Moobs. But binding or loose shirts will help hide them. But it also will take time for them to develop. If someone mentions them make a joke about your' moobs'. Guys joke about them all the time.

Thanx for the advice. :) I have considered binding them if necessary but I'm worried that that would hurt too much?

I don't know about hurting, the boys could tell you that. But it could hinder development. I would just let things happen, you would not develop overnight.

Specifying gender is your choice, but most of us elect to choose our true brain gender. If you feel you are female then you would choose that. Many of the androgynous members don't choose at all.

Exactly. But I think she was wondering what is the proper ( can I say it that way) choice is. I am male bodied at this time, but I am female in heart, mind, and soul. Thus I am female.

binding won't hinder development.
You won't need to bind anyways, you can easily hide them for a very long time.
And if someone notices it it's not like they will say "omg you are turning female", more like man boobs.

Your body needs some type of hormone be it testosterone or estrogen, without either you could develop osteoporosis over time.
On estrogen we develop breasts at different rates and development usually takes many months, people just thought i had moobs but it was the facial features and body odor changes that people first noticed somewhere around the 5 - 6 month mark.

I took only antiandrogens for a while prior to adding estrogens and stuff.
Go and look at Avodart forums and discussions. Sure you can take antiandrogens, men do it all the time for their hair. I read about some who make a paste out of spiro and rub it on their bald spots, others who break open their avodart gelcaps and all other sorts of things. The side effects they complain about are the yumyums to us. You do need either testosterone or estradiol, yes, but you don't need as much testosterone as your body is making and a doctor can help you reduce the levels without needing to supplement with anything else. It's no fun to bottom out though and not have enough sex hormone of either flavor, so make sure your doc isn't a goof.
Seriously though you'd be missing out, estradiol is the best part :) Prolly the best thing to do would be to sort the issues barring you from hrt out first so they don't get worse.

anouther option increase cardio ie fat burning exercise and it will slow their growth as well since you will have less fat to deposite their kind of counter productive but healthy alternative to slowing breast growth to buy more time.
