Hi.
I'm an 19y/o FTM from Sydney, Australia and i would like some help with finding gender therapists. Would anyone know of any besides The Gender Centre?. What are the general questions they ask. How long do we need to be in therapy until we can get on hormones.
Thanks.

Hi, Jayson. Welcome to Susan's. Feel free to introduce yourself in the "Introductions" section.
I can't help you with your therapy question because I live in the U.S. But I hope some of your fellow Australians chime in.

Greetings Jayson,
I too, am in the US. I do know that therapists in general vary in their idea of a time line. As to finding one, ask Cindy maybe.

Hi Jason.
I was recommended this website / organisation by my brothers and sisters of an international transgender support group.
http://www.gendercentre.org.au/index.htm (http://www.gendercentre.org.au/index.htm)
They are physically located in NSW so it may be something you can use, otherwise, I'm sure that you could speak to them for a referral to a gender therapist near you.
Hope that helps =D
