Title: Do I look manly now?
Post by: Matthew J. F on December 01, 2009, 04:39:48 PM
Ok guys I've been trying to lose some weight by changing my diet to a no meat diet (I feel that meat is the root to all evils). I seem to be seeing some results as my face doesn't seem to look puffy anymore.

What do you guys think? No I'm not wearing my c00l shades this time :D
Be honest. If you guys still think that I look like a woman, it only means that I need to work harder :DD

By the way sorry for the background. I haven't been able spend time to rearrange my bedroom. My room still looks femine and that is because I'm focusing all of my energy on myself then my room.

You don't look like a woman to me. Good job.

how is the no meat diet working?  i could stand to lose a few myself, but......bacon!

You'd have to try it. Really, vegetarianism isn't that bad.

Hey Handsome.  Looking good, and I agree with Tasha.  Lose the shirt.  Go for plaids like Al.

Manly? Not really.

Male, I say yes.

Hello guys and gals :D

Nobody liked the shirt. The photo was taken last night and was about to go to bed, so the ideal of putting on a appropriate shirt wasn't on my mind. I still need to throw out my girlish clothes, since I will no longer be needing them.

I went in my fathers closest to find this shirt. Of all of the shirts he had, I liked the one that I'm wearing.

Here's a better photo

That's better.  More a man's cut to the shirt.

I have no idea what your voice sounds like and what your mannerisms are(me for example, my voice is reasonably chest driven but my mannerisms/look are too andro and flamer-y) but dear god, no, you do NOT look like a woman, not to me! If I just saw you across the room, even if I didn't think 'man', I wouldn't be comfortable assuming you're a woman, either, and that says a lot- to me, there's a big difference between 'DEFINITELY CHICK' and 'hmm... not sure, better not assume', because it leaves your ground open for you to gently correct anyone who may be confused. (For example, I had a guy walk up to me the other day and ask, 'are you a man or a woman?' which may seem like a downer they don't automatically assume 'man', but really, it's a plus, because one can dispel doubt about manhood.)

You have a pretty aggressive look, the first shirt may have been 'femme' but it's not like you're wearing a friggin babydoll tee. I'd say you have the man-look down enough not to need to stres about it a whole lot(plaid and button downs really help with a masculine look, but really, if you don't carry yourself well, I've found I still just end up upping my dyke-dar, not my man-radar) and your face is more handsome than femme/'pretty', I don't know if you're on T yet, but if not, consider yourself blessed with what you have to work with. ;)

The second shirt is definitely better. I agree with Lachlann. Definitely looking like a dude right there.

The tiny hands and something about the mouth give you away.

You'd make me look twice then realize you're female.

I don't pass all the time myself by a long shot, and my own hands are tiny, they're just at least blocky and veiny.

It takes hard work and T to look male - look at what our sisters here have to do though, it's a lot harder work for them!

If i where to see you walking/standing around, i wouldn't automatically think "female." Maybe if i stared really hard.... But honestly, you look great! You pass better than i do right now.

I'm looking to loose a few pounds - i don't think i can go totally veg but i agree that cutting down on meats helps (i only rarely eat meats now.) Good luck!
