Evening, guys. Obviously, you can call me Brynn. I'm currently 19 -- a useless age, imo -- and a sophomore working towards a degree in Anthropology. As you might realize if you're familiar with the field, this means I'm essentially interested in people. Specifically, I find research into gender and sexuality absolutely fascinating. I've even done a little bit of study into religion -- I find indigenous ones the most enthralling. (I'm also a bit of a spelling and grammar freak, but that's another matter entirely.)
But to stick to the topic of this forum, I do consider myself transgender -- specifically, some kind of transmasculine. I am at least 80 - 90% male-identified. I like to present as male, like to be read as male, and like to be treated as male. Nothing gets under my skin worse than being called "young lady."
I guess my purpose in joining this board is to meet some like-minded people who can possibly help me out in my journey of figuring out what label sticks to me best, if any do at all, and how to better reconcile my gender identity with my female body and the fact that I'm only out to people online and a fair amount of friends. Even better, I hope the little bit I know might help some others in return along the way.
So... Hello. :)

Hi Brynn, :icon_wave:
Welcome to our little family. Over 3700 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.
Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams. Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.
But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother. :icon_hug:
And be sure to check out
Blessed Be.
Janet

Yep, welcome to the board. You'll find like-minded people.
You don't need a label, labels are for soup cans lol.
Not sure what else to say.

Labels do make things easier sometimes, though. I just wanna figure myself out, ya know?

Yeah, I know. Just don't get so caught up in labeling yourself, because you might try to fit the label instead of just letting yourself be.
I've certainly labeled myself, don't really have anything against labels. Only when people try too hard to fit them.

I know. I've got a bit of a love-hate relationship with them. So I'll try to be careful. :)
