:) I just spoke to my youngest child and asked him how he would feel if I looked and sounded like a man. He told me he would love me because I'm his. I told him that one day I really wanted to look like a man and he offered me this really helpful suggestion " Why don't you just ask Father Christmas for a boy dressing up kit? "
That's the most important person in my life on side :)

Wait for that day when he says, "Now we're twins!!!" (...or do only girls say that sort of stuff?)

Kids ROCK! Congratulations. My kids were and have been great about the whole thing.
Glad to have that reminder from who matters most, your son.

My kids didn't care. I'm still me, their parent, and understood I needed to be true to myself, which is what I've instilled in them since they were small: be themselves.
They get pronouns right, call me Mom at home but "Dad" or "Bob" in public with silliness in their voices. My son is still trying to figure out how I use a urinal lol (he uses the stall).
