"There is no crisis on the marriage front in Canada," said Siksay. "In fact, all that has changed in recent years is that more couples who strongly believe in the institution of marriage and the traditional commitments it involves can now participate. If anything, marriage is stronger, because some of its strongest supporters can now be married."
