Title: surgery canceled..
Post by: Myself on December 23, 2009, 11:20:41 AM
surgery was supposed to be next week.

It's canceled, the surgeon says not to do forehead, recommends against it. Just Chin and Nose.

Ok fine.

After saying that surgeon started talking to me in male. @@.....

Go for the nose and chin.  But why did he not tell you that in the beginning?

Sorry for the bad news and the male BS,
Janet

he did, it is second meeting with him, in the first he said he doesn't think forehead is "required" because it is "too little" so benefit versus risk in is opinion is none.

But it was kinda up to us.

Now he just says no.
He says there is prominence, about half as the regular patient, usually 12mm, me maybe about 6mm, so why bother? (it's still 6mm more than the female usual forehead, isn't it?)

I don't feel like thinking about it much right now, some will say I am right, some will say I am an idiot and be happy to already have just half and be happy with it and not bother.. whatever @@.. I am just fruestrated

Honestly, I'd tell him that if he can't provide the service you're paying for, then you're taking your money elsewhere.
It's better to get it done right by someone who you can feel comfortable with, than have it done "quickly".
You're gonna have to live the rest of your life with the result after all.
