I have a low case of paranoia schizophrenia, what are the chances of a gender therapist not letting me get T?

A psychiatrist has to evaluate you, however, there's two things generally they look at:
1. Is your mental illness stable enough for HRT and transition. Transition brings stresses and it's important that someone with a mental illness is actively involved in treating that illness in order to keep the illness as stable as possible and to have help when problems occur and stress gets difficult.
2. Is your GID GID or not -- do you have long-standing GID symptoms, or is something else. For example, some say a person with schizophrenia came in a delusional state with the believe that he is a woman. He comes in with a balloons under his shirt and claims he's a woman, and maybe even more specifically, Joan of Arc, and needs to be a woman in order to save the world from the gnome under lords. There's a big difference between the two, and a psychiatrist must distinguish if it's GID or if the person is in a temporary psychosis state that needs to be treated. When the psychosis state is treated, the idea of changing genders goes away, since it wasn't GID to begin with.
In your case, paranoia usually won't keep someone from HRT; however, if you were paranoid and in a psychosis state and believed you needed to change genders in order to escape the secret service spying on you -- the doctor might not give you the go ahead for HRT.

This really means alot to me, I tried looking online and didn't find anything.
Fortunetly, I don't 'see' things or hear things, i'm stable, taking medication, and hopfully i can get T :)
