Saturday night... and ITV proudly presents a parade of scantily-clad drag queen lookalikes and an extremely northern not-very-funny comic called Paddy McGuinness.
"I'm the lovemeister general," reveals Paddy, helpfully.
Hooray, it's telly's thoroughly modern new dating show Take Me Out – a jarringly sexist cattle market featuring 30 "single sirens" in a forward-thinking throwback to the golden age of demeaning beauty pageants.
