Re/Gendered is an exploration of the way artists attempt to visually represent the ambiguous space 'in- between' genders. It was inspired by Judith Butler's notion that gender is an innately 'unstable' construct, only reiterated by our everyday performance of gender. It is a celebration of queer theory and the idea that both our gender and sexuality can be fluid and changing, rather than biologically determined.
