New Columbus school board members not afraid to ask questions

The board unanimously approved adding sexual orientation and "gender identity or expression" a male who considers himself female and vice-versa to the district's anti-discrimination policy for staff and students. Students who violate the policy could be expelled and staff who violate it could be fired, Harris said.
