Title: Prop 8 Trial - Proposal to Televise

There is an effort in place right now to get the new Prop 8 trial televised. The trial is to begin Monday.
If you wish to support that effort go here: http://www.couragecampaign.org/page/s/TeleviseTheTrial. They need 125,000 signatures. As of this time they have over 100,000.
It would be nice to see discrimination in action.

They are going to face a pretty rough time in the old 9th Circuit to begin with, and I can only imagine what's its going to be like down around that courthouse, which is in downtown SF, come the hearings. Maybe I should just head on over there and join in the festivities.

Kat, I think you would have a few words of wisdom to express. And I think that could be very enlightening. Let us know how it goes...

Oh I bet it's going to be harder then hell to get in, but I'll bet there is going to be a crowd outside. I might go down to work early and check it out.

The US Supreme Court blocked taping of the proceedings just a few minutes ago.

No Live feeds allowed either. Apparently, they need several days to mull it over and siding with the pro Prop 8 side won the day.

Here's the article from CNN:

Maybe we should instead focus on banning divorce. No better way to "preserve marriage"
