Title: Building my courage and confidence
Post by: Pippa on January 19, 2010, 02:47:03 PM
I am getting to the stage of my transition where changes are becoming noticeable and I know that before long others will start asking awkward questions.   Before that happens, I would like to bring the true me to the world.

Over the last month or so, I have had a couple of counselling sessions based on building my self confidence in transition however I am still struggling to build up my confidence levels.

I have made small steps in my transition.   It is now time to take the plunge and I am scared of what the future holds.

All through my life I have been the victim of bullying and verbal abuse.   I have a real and constant doubt regarding how others perceive me.   I know that transition is the right and only path for me.   I just need help to get the message across.

The only thing is to do it.....again and again and again even if you're scared out of your mind.

I got to the point that I could care less how others see me.  This is for me and me only.
