My birth name is Nic, but those who know about me call me Erica. I am 22, Ive been MtF for most of my life, keeping it a secret from everyone in my world. Ive spent all my days feeling ashamed, like I'm wrong to be this way. In fact, I still do. I feel like one day I'll wake up and I wont be like this anymore.

I only joined this forum at the suggestion of a friend. I've honestly never known another transgender person my whole life, and didnt even know there was a name for what I was until recently.

I'm depressed, wildly emotional, and a stubborn cynic. So, I apologize in advance if I rub someone the wrong way. I'm just angry and unhappy. Thats why I'm here, to possibly find peace with my inner conflicts.

Welcome to the group. We have a great group of people here and the Admin and Mods are on top of issues and this is a relatively safe place to vent and seek suport.
