The special effects are looking pretty amazing in the new "leaked" trailer making the rounds today. Reviews from those who saw the rough footage is a little mixed but leans to the positive side.
I cannot wait for this to be out. I loved the cartoon and hopefully M Night will do it justice.

I've only seen the released trailer, which consists of no real footage. I should look for this treasure you speak of. The cartoon was indeed the best! I have many hopes for the movie.

Somewhat on topic, but somewhat not.
That blind earth bender... Whatever her name is. She is AWESOME, especially in the episode that she figures she can bend metal. That is the best. ;D

oh.... I thought it was a sequel to avatar the movie for a second.. even though it's way too soon for one :S

Avatar 2 is already in the works. The Last Airbender is supposed to be a trilogy so sequels shall be everywhere!

I love fire and am fascinated by the chaos that it represents. Therefore I must be lacking in some of the animal instincts we humans are still supposed to have as fire is dangerous and deadly but also purifying, making way for new growth afterward. Unless of course the fire is below ground for decades and still going like in Pa.
