I'm getting there slowly. I am at the stage where I sometimes look in the mirrror and I am happy with my appearance and on other occasions all I see is a bloke in a dress. The hormones are working slowly but I could do with losing some weight and letting my hair grow out.
With exercise, the weather has been so bad in the last couple of months that I have not been able to get out on my bike or to the golf course. Back to the diet I think,

Your look fine.
Short skirts don't do it for me, personally.

It's not a skirt, in this photo anyway. It's a long T Shirt. The blue dress was worn to show how much weight I had lost (2 stone). Anyway, I think my legs are my best feature >:-)

I'm really sorry. I was a bit low when I wrote that. Please ignore it. :icon_cry2:

high waistline stuff is definitely not you...that blue/black mess is so 1980s.
the pink top is exactly right length and nice fit round waist and go for deep vee or scoop necks...

As I said in my last email, the blue dress was an old one I bought about eight years ago. Until recently I was not able to get the zip past on the side past my chest. It shows how much weight I have lost.
Also, the photo was taken about 2 months into hormones so there was very little development. The photo file is a marker of my transition. I am fully aware that at only ten months in, I have a long way to go. Transition is a slow process I fully expect that is going to take about three years to get somewhere near to where I want to go.
I am trying to transition with as little recourse to surgery as I can. I know I need my nose fixed and may need breast implants but I am prepared to wait until the hormones have done as much as they can before going under the knife.

The beauty tip of the day looks kind of funny with the Vampires and Day in Hell apps right underneath it :icon_tetter:

I wish I could get a photo without me gurning like a loon! It is the main reason that I prefer to be behind the camera. Thanks for the nice coments. They really help with my confidence.

My hair is slowly growing out. If you read some of my other posts you will be aware that I have had a disastrous trim just before christmas. The first five or six photos were taken at the start of my transition about this time last year. Only in the last couple of pics is my hair near the length it is now. The first two photos are in a crappy wig ( I hate wearing the things).
I do not plan to get my hair trimmed again until after the summer. At least the at the as visit, she started to work proper layers into my hair. My hair is collar length at the back and just over my ears at the side. I am hapy with this as I was desperate to avoid the mullet look!

It is amazing how the changes suddenly hit you. In an attempt to burn off some weight, I went cycling last night. When I put my sports top on, it was significantly tighter around the bust than the last time I wore it. Another confirmation that the hormones are doing their job. I love it when I see changes as I feel another step closer to the real me. ;D
