Title: That made my day :D
Post by: kaide on February 21, 2010, 07:58:14 PM
I went to my friends bday party last night, she wanted me to dress up for her as her bday gift for some reason, so I did. I went with our other mutual friend, only white people there and we don't know any Spanish, it was her whole family so I was nervous going dressed, never been to a family get together or anything like that, but I've met alot of her family members and they are really nice people and don't judge others. well her uncles were like your 2 gfs are cute, do they speak Spanish, she goes no. they go ah well, we can still hit on them right is that cool with you? she goes...weeeellll...that one has a boyfriend, and that one is a guy, but go for it if you want :p lol that was great. after that they were like err wait what? thats a guy, are you serious? they kept looking at me trying to see if she was lying to them lol.

Too bad she told them I was a guy, if I was passing kind of ruins it when you have everyone looking at you trying to figure you out. Well they finally believed her after they asked her direct relatives and her bf and after that they felt they needed to go drink some beer and wrestle around and be macho lol, guess it bugged them realizing they we're checking out a "guy"

oh well it was still fun, I had a great time, can't wait to get the photos from her :D

Dang!  To bad she said that.  It would have been so cool to have the guys hitting on you.

But Hey, you passed till she opened her mouth.  That is at least something.

It would have made my day too.  I have yet to have that passing feeling.  I am always failing.  But you know what, I don't care half the time.  Too bad she said something, but what if she didn't and that led to something more.  That would have been even more awkward.  I like when people know that way I get people that know what they are getting into, not that there are many of them here in Nashville.

I am moving to China in two months.  I wonder if being from a different ethnic group makes it harder to tell if person from another ethnic group is a transexual. Kinda like your experience with the latino family.  I don't even think people in China or at least the town I am going to even know what one is from the emails I have had trying to get an apartment there.

Well all I can do is hope that Chinese people think I am a woman.

Well, Jessica, I think that was wonderful.  It was OK for your friend to tell because then you had the pleasure of their disbelief.  They didn't just say - oh yeah.  They said - really? are you sure?

It sounds like a wonderful experience.  I'd be glowing for days.

Go girl. :eusa_dance:

See I have a habit of messing with guy friends, so I would have too much fun with that :p.

As far as going to china, I know in japan its a widely known thing, its common there and most of them don't come off surprised or anything.

Well I went out last night again, to a gay bar, no way i'd step into a straight bar just yet, with some friends we had a girls night out. Lol the bartender thought my drivers license was my bfs at first, I was like uhh no thats me... he goes oh, what would you like sweetie? heh the place was alot of fun..I didn't know they had a strip poll though that threw us off since we sat right by it and didn't realize! haha that was fun though got lots of pics and I even got to take mine with the stripper guy, jeez they are strong! I could feel his arms shaking when he was above me, it was neat, must take alot of muscle.
