Title: Moving to China, Crazy world isn't it!
Post by: JessicaF1971 on February 21, 2010, 08:59:09 PM
Hi I have been in transition actively since August of 2009.  I probably should have come on here a while ago and done this but it is never too late.  I have a crazy story that might just be a little different then most.  Sure for the most part my story is the same as everyone else but it just took a big twist in the last 2 months.  I have been unemployed off and on for the better part of 14 months now due to the economy, who isn't right.  Then I got new good job doing what I do, I am an Architect, that might be a bit different since I have yet to meet another Transexual Architect, but either way I got a new job, still as a guy then got fired three months later, 10 days before Christmas for no apparent real reason.  I take it the read some of my email or someone outed me.  Well that is pretty normal for us all too.  Heck the worst part of being who we are is trying to stay employed.  Well guess what happens next, I start really looking the world over for a job and damned if one didn't find me.  Guess where, CHINA.  Yes, communist want to hire a transexual architect who doesn't speak Mandarin.

It turns out my boss is a gay architect that went to the same college as me and at the same time during the early 90s.  Small world huh.  He wants me and doesn't give a crap what I wear to work, so long as I do my job good.

If this interests you please take a look at the blog I just started and you can follow my exploits as I move to China. I am leaving for Thailand on March 27th 2010 to have some FFS surgery, Adams apple removal, and gets some real boobies with Dr. Supporn in Bangkok.  After that I will fly to Shenzhen and restart my career in China.  So come along with me and keep an eye on me, I don't want to end up in some Chinese prison camp.

Here is my blog if you are interested, it tells my whole life story if you have the time and a box of Kleenex.

Hi Jessica, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 4200 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister. :icon_hug:

I was looking for where you update your profile and add pictures but I see no tab or area for that.  I am no newbie to these types of sites so I am feeling a bit like a fool. Please tell me where to do that?
Thanks,
