Title: Something funny/sad happened at the store today

I was at the drugstore, and I was buying women's deodorant, lipgloss, and a very girly bodywash, and the girl at the cash was this sort of... punky... hippie thing with y'know, nice natural features, clean but not all made up.  She had a hemp necklace.  Anyways, she was definitely sizing me up as a sex target the whole time, and when I went through the checkout she sounded sort of angry.

I have a girlfriend and stuff, but I was like "Oh... there goes that option."

Some clerks are just angry.  Who knows the last customer could have set her off.  Or maybe she was upset because you seemed to have an SO.

Now, maybe I'm arrogant and, and maybe sex is all I really think about, but I'm pretty sure she was checking me out the entire time I was there, and I'm never mean to customers I think are hot.  I blame pheromones.

Salesgirls are just there to collect the money for their employer. What I buy is my business alone and if they've got an attitude, that's their problem not mine. I wouldn't worry about what's going through their head, you may be reading too much into it. And you will probably never have to speak to her again anyway. Enjoy your purchases, ma'am!!
