March 9, 2010 - Washington, D.C. - Today, Traditional Values Coalition announced the launch of the www.endahurtskids.com (http://www.endahurtskids.com) campaign. The so-called Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA) will force every public school in America to hire transgendered teachers and forbid their re-assignment out of the classroom.

The campaign includes an online petition to Congress opposing ENDA.

TVC has launched the www.endahurtskids.com (http://www.endahurtskids.com) campaign, to warn parents about the chaos ENDA will bring into our children's classroom.

They want a pure christian America. No-one is allowed to express themselves if it isn't in accord with 'Holy" scripture.
I fear that one of these days the christian taliban will succedd and take political power in this nation. When that happens we are screwed!

Christian Taliban...that's exactly what they are. They cry bloody mary when the Taliban enforces their extreme "traditional" values onto people, but when they do it, it's just fine.

One word...HYPOCRITES!

The world would be better off with no religion. I just wish that the human species would smarten up quick enough to realize this before we destroy ourselves because of it.

Christian Taliban indeed. If an organization went around talking about "negroes" - let alone "nig--rs" - they would be marginalized. If they talked about "->-bleeped-<-gots," they would at the very least be considered at the extreme right fringe of acceptability. And yet, somehow it's acceptable for a right-wing Christian organization to use the term "she-male" over and over again on their Website.

The essence of Christianity is told to us in the Garden of Eden history. The fruit that was forbidden was on the Tree of Knowledge. The subtext is, All the suffering you have is because you wanted to find out what was going on. The biggest threat to America today is not communism. It's moving America toward a fascist theocracy, and everything that's happened during the Reagan administration is steering us right down that pipe ... i must say though, even in Ohio, i have met two Christians who support and love "our community"--actually the other lives in Tenn. but either way it's still two more people than i knew a year ago, which was zero. and yes, i agree, you can be spiritual, and not go to church. i haven't been in church since 2006 and that was only to get married, now guess where i go to get divorced??

It never ceases to amaze me how low the right will go... They'll stop at nothing to ensure their hate-filled agenda takes center stage. Imho, their so-called values and morals go right out the window when they start with this type of negative attack.

What's worse is that their fear mongering seems to work. :(

I still don't understand why we still refer to them as "values." They are not values, they are biases, hatred, bigotry...all wrapped up the word "values." Just like they wrap up everything dealing with national security, giving up out rights, hatred toward Muslims...all that into the word "patriotic." We need to take back these words and apply them to the things that are truly worthy of those titles.

The time has come to take back our country! Malicious gender and homophobic hate mongering groups are running rampant across our country's airwaves and net pages. Call for the establishment of a reservation in the middle of the country where the tumbleweeds still blow.
Here, they can safely retain their "traditional family values" free from the influence of progressive, fair minded folks. They will be free to establish their own constitution and laws which will allow them to spend their days condemning each other.

Within the confines of the reservation, they will not be allowed to either breed, nor have access to the internet or media outlets.

Problem is they think the have a manifest destiny to convert the world to jesus worship. I have heard some christians say that we need to be exterminated so they can have a moral and pure nation.

Also, major agreement with the "manifest destiny" comment. That's exactly what all the "Christian charity" missions are really about - "we'll give you food and shelter if you convert to Jesus!"
